U18 player Emily Field scored off Sara Grahn’s chest at 2:40 of the third period for a 3-1 U.S. advantage.

8:10pm – End of second period
Team USA is still up 2-1 heading into the second intermission after holding a 22-2 shots advantage in the period.

8:03pm – USA goal
Jinelle Zaugg-Siergiej scored again for Team USA, off a scramble in front of the Swedish net. The U.S. now holds a 2-1 lead at 14:04 of the second period.

8pm – No scoring change
Still 1-1 with 6:30 to go in the second period.

7:45pm – USA goalie change
U18 goalie Megan Miller is in net for Team USA to start the second period.

7:30pm – Scored tied at 1-1 in first intermission
Danijela Rundqvist scored for Sweden at 17:26 of the first period, putting the tally at 1-1 heading into the first intermission. Shots are 18-8 in favor of Team USA.

Jinelle Zaugg-Siergiej tapped in a Kacey Bellamy rebound off a point shot on the power play for a 1-0 U.S. lead at 8:25 of the 1st period again Sweden.

7pm – Just about to get underway here at Watson Arena in Brunswick, Maine. Brianne McLaughlin is starting in net for Team USA, Sara Grahn is in goal for Team Sweden.
